Health Directory HQ is a free, independent directory that helps people in the United States find trustworthy health care and health-related resources. We are not a clinic, hospital, insurer, or telehealth provider. We do not deliver care, take appointments, or handle medical records. What we do is simple: we gather real, authoritative, verifiable resources into one calm, easy-to-read place so you can spend less time searching and more time getting the help you need.
What we list
Every resource on this site is a genuine organization or tool with a working website. Our seed directory focuses on widely recognized, well-established sources — government agencies such as HRSA, SAMHSA, the NIH, Medicare, and HealthCare.gov; respected national nonprofits such as NAMI and the American Dental Association; and major established platforms such as Teladoc, MDLIVE, GoodRx, and NeedyMeds. We organize them into eight practical categories: Telehealth, Urgent Care, Primary Care & Clinics, Mental Health, Dental, Specialists, Low-Cost / Free Clinics, and Pharmacies.
What we will never do
We will never invent clinics, addresses, phone numbers, or reviews. If we cannot verify that a resource is real and reachable, it does not go in the directory. We also will never present our content as medical advice. Health decisions belong between you and a licensed clinician who knows your history.
Our editorial standard
Each listing carries a description of fifty words or more so you understand what a resource does before you click. We prioritize free and low-cost public services, especially for people who are uninsured or underinsured, because access to care should not depend on the ability to pay. As the directory grows, we add new categories and resources, and we welcome submissions from real providers through our Submit a Listing page.
Important: not medical advice, not an emergency service
Health Directory HQ is informational only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. In an emergency, call 911. If you are in emotional distress or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 for the free, confidential, 24/7 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
